Is the card you are using in the CARDLIST of bttv driver? If so, you should
find the mapping in bttv. For example, if you use Sensoray Model 611 or 311,
you will find: channel=0 takes Composite0, channel=1 takes Composite1,
channel=2 takes Composite2, channel=3 takes Composite3, and channel=4 takes
S-Video.

Subject: How to select S-Video on bt878
I need to use S-Video on my own bt878 card. It works fine if I connect Y
signal to input 2 and chroma signal to CIN and use the standard bt video
driver and xawtv. But I need to use input 0 for Y. In this case I have black
and white picture. I guess I need to make the chip to use CIN input for
chroma
signal.I have looked in the Conexant Fusion 878A data sheet, in bt driver
and
xawtv source code but I could not find how to control this input.
What is the magic here?
